Amazing Recipes I Am Dying To Try
There are hundreds of recipes that I want to try. I have a bunch of secret Pinterest boards that are filled with different themed recipes, such as Valentine's Day, Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and other TV shows - plus a board for miscellaneous recipes, which has over 300 pins just on its own.
Quite different from who I was at the beginning of the year, I actually do have faith in myself that I could make most of the recipes on my Pinterest boards without any major failures, but there are definitely a few recipes that seem too pretty or too complicated for me to achieve. Those recipes I am putting off until I feel more experienced in the kitchen.
Despite my belief that I would not be able to make these specific recipes to the standard that I would like just yet, I still wanted to share them with you, as I really do love them and want to talk about them. So here are some of my favourite, need-to-try recipes!
1. Gumball Machine Cupcakes by AwwSam.
2. Cotton Candy Cupcakes by Cooking Classy.
3. Fast Food Fun by Bakerella.
I love gumball machines, cotton candy, and things shaped like other things, so these three recipes are right up my alley. After re-reading all three of these recipes over and over, I really am dying to give them a go.
I just don't know when I'll have the time, as all three cakes have numerous components to them that will require at least one entirely free day to complete, if not more. I might add them to my next New Year goals and see if I feel more confident next year.
4. Bubblegum Frosting Cupcakes with Gelatin Bubbles by Sprinkles Bakes.
5. Artist Palette and Paintbrush Cookies by Sweetapolita.
6. Galaxy Mousse Cakes by Sugar Hero.
These next three seem a little more difficult. Just the words "gelatin bubbles" are intimidating enough to make me put off trying that recipe, and all the different colours on the artist palette cookies would take a while - not to mention, a lot of dishes - to mix up.
Don't even get me started on the galaxy mousses - they look far too gorgeous for me to ever recreate, but that doesn't mean I won't (one day) try! Being able to create even one of these amazing desserts would be such an accomplishment.
Hopefully I work up the courage to give them a go soon, and if I do, I'll be sure to share my attempts on here. Are there any recipes that you're completely in love with, but afraid to try? If you eventually got around to trying them, how did you go?
Until next time,
